Swiftcon Technologies was founded on a straightforward observation: the three primary phases of a construction project each carry large volumes of manual coordination work that software should be handling. In preconstruction, teams spend days on regulatory research that should be available in seconds. In design, BIM engineers spend afternoons generating documentation that the model already contains the data to produce automatically. In construction, information moves between systems, teams, and phases by hand when it should flow automatically.
This is not an observation unique to any single firm. It is structural. Construction has been slower than other industries to build the software layer that handles this coordination automatically, in part because the workflows are complex and jurisdiction-specific, and in part because the tools to address them had not been built for the way construction projects actually operate.
Swiftcon is building the automation layer for construction projects that other industries built decades ago.
We began with preconstruction because regulatory research represents some of the most time-consuming manual work in the pre-design phase. The first product we shipped reduced what was a multi-day research process to a matter of seconds. We extended that same approach to the design phase with the Revit Plugin Suite, automating the BIM coordination tasks that BIM teams repeat on every project. The Automation Platform will connect both to construction execution workflows.

Swiftcon operates as a small, deliberate team. We do not pursue broad feature coverage across multiple workflows simultaneously. We identify the specific workflow within a specific project phase that is causing the most friction, build a product that addresses it completely, ship it, and measure it against the manual process it replaced.
This approach requires discipline. There are many workflows in construction that could benefit from automation. We select based on the magnitude of the time cost and the feasibility of building something that is genuinely better than the manual process, not just marginally faster. Products that do not meet that standard do not ship.
